Driving Directions to North Shore Medical Center:

By Automobile
It is very easy to drive to the XKnife center. Take I-95 South or North to Exit 10 which is N.W. 95th Street. Get off the highway and go west. This is a left turn if you were coming from the South or a right turn if you were coming from the North. Drive along 95th Street to the Main Entrance and turn left.
Signs will direct you to the C. Gordon Griffith Cancer Center along the western side of the hospital.

By Air
Access to North Shore Medical Center is possible from 2 international airports and 1 commuter/regional airport. If you fly into Miami International Airport (MIA) you will exit by taxi or by car to Florida Highway 112 or Florida Highway 836 East.
Take either of those highways to I-95 North. You will have to pay a 25 cent toll on those roads before you reach I-95.
Take I-95 North to Exit 10 at N.W. 95th Street and turn left (West) when you exit the ramp. North Shore Medical Center is at 1100 N.W. 95th Street, approximately 4 blocks west. Enter at the Main Entrance and follow the signs to the C. Gordon Griffith Cancer Center. The XKnife is there.
For families landing at Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLA), exit by taxi or car to 1595 West. Take that highway to I-95 South. Take I-95 to exit 10 at N.W. 95th Street and exit right (West) off the highway. Take the same road directions as above.
Families may fly into Opa-Locka Airport. We advise notifying us before so that we may arrange a taxi or rental car to meet you. You will exit the airport to N.W. 42nd Avenue and drive to N.W. 135th Street East, which is a lest turn, and head to I-95 South.
Take I-95 South to Exit 10 at N.W. 95th Street and the directions are the same as from Fort Lauderdale Airport.

By Train
Commuter train access is possible from West Palm Beach and Broward counties. Metrorail access is available from Dade county.
The closest Metrorail station is North Side Station (3150 NW 79th Street). From there a taxi can bring you to North Shore Medical Center.
The closest commuter train station is Tri-Rail Station at Golden Glades Interchange (16000 N. State Road 9). It is also necessary to take a taxi from there to North Shore Medical Center.
