The recently remodeled War Memorial Auditorium in downtown Fort Lauderdale features 20,000 feet of performance space and over 2100 seats for concerts, seminars, lectures, graduations, family shows, boxing bouts, wrestling matches, and other events.   The lobby area, with its ornate marble, bronze statue, wall plaques and floor seal, is a commemoration of World War II, Korean and Vietnam War veterans, thus the naming of the building, "War Memorial Auditorium."

Located in the downtown area, it is just a few minutes from the city's famous beach.  Directions:

From Miami:
I 95 to Broward Boulevard
East to US1
Left/North on US1
Exactly 8 blocks to NE 8th Street/Ninninger Drive
Turn right

From Palm Beach:
I 95 South to Sunrise Boulevard
East to US1 South
Right/South on US1
Exactly 2 blocks to NE 8th Street/Ninninger Drive
